Unfold is proud to be back with a new great issue composed by Palestine based artists/curators Lara Khaldi and Yazan Khalili. Unfold #5 : Algorithm is transposes to the digital Khaldi's and Khalili's joint investigation of performance, (science) fiction, and narrative devices to unpack complex political scenarios.
Algorithm is is the result of a collaboration with popular communication softwares and search engines. Choosing from the predeteremined choices given by these tools, the artists were led to a compilation of words and videos bordering DADAist poetry. Unveiling the gosthly hands of alghorithms, this Unfold confronts us with altered notions of agency and freedom in relation to knowledge production and circulation in the digital idealogy.
