"We're delighted to announce the first NEW CONDITIONS event IRELAND, celebrating the return and new home of PLUGD RECORDS, above The Roundy, Castle Street, Cork City. DAVY KEHOE (Wah Wah Wino)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1gHEdvpV4Q

Arriving fresh from his one-off performance at the Douglas Hyde Gallery on the 6th, Irish producer, Davy Kehoe, brings his sonic might to Cork! His most recent record, Short Passing Game (2017), released on Ireland’s best-kept secret, Wah Wah Wino, has been making waves all over Europe with its melding of studio and live jam productions. The result is a seamless bringing together of Electronics, Krautrock, and even Post-Punk, overlaid with harmonicas and a healthy dose of deep dub delay. Kehoe’s music has been compared to various notable acts such as Neu!, Suicide, and Tortoise, with influences ranging anything from West African guitar to Sonic Youth! We’re still in shock he agreed to come and play:0

WAH WAH WINO (Morgan, Omid, Olmo)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxEYiMWU4ck

Label heads Morgan Buckley, Omid Geadizadeh, and Olmo Devin take the controls and offer up an insane mix of beats, the Wino way! The Wah Wah Wino crew have been steadily building momentum in releasing underground, alternative and experimental house and techno music that has found favour with a mix of touring DJs. All quite impressive when you consider, to date, they have released three 12’ singles, one album, and one mind-boggling and titillating compilation, titled, naturally.... Absolutely Wino (2017).

POPPA WHEELIE (Rush Hour No 'Label' Amsterdam)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRANzd9a6l4

Illusive Producer, New Conditions resident DJ, and Guru of Rush Hour affiliated No ‘Label’, Mark Cremins, makes a very special first appearance in Cork! There are few people in the world that could say they weirded out Berlin’s Berghain, but this man could! He can usually be found traveling, finding the most obscure scenes, and coming out with the most mind blowing and unique records. To date, he's released records by various notable artists including: Inga Copeland, Jamal Moss, Bear Bones Lay Low, John T Gast, Fyoelk, Dean Blunt, Mark Pritchard, Morgan Buckley and Design A Wave, to name but a few. A selection of No ‘Label’ records will also be available on the night.

ELLLL (Art For Blind, Gash Collective)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gq3e9dEz8Wg

Cork’s very own Ellen King heads the night with her own brand of dark beats, resonant samples, and dystopian techno leanings. One-half of improvised electronic duo Wry Myrrh, and founding member of Gash Collective, ELLLL’s music has equally been making waves all over these and far off shores. With her recent release on Art For Blind Records, and appearances at Dublin’s Boiler Room, Electric Picnic, Body and Soul, and Barcelona’s LAUT venue, ELLLL is proving to be a force to be reckoned with.
