A Tale of a Tub: Doors of Perception ~ new work by Mercedes Azpilicueta (DAI, 2013) and Rosie Heinrich (DAI, 2012) curated by Fleur van Muiswinkel
Doors of Perception
Performance and film program
30 November 3 – 6pm
Upcoming Rijksakademie resident Mercedes Azpilicueta (1981) and Rosie Heinrich (1981) present new work at A Tale of a Tub on Sunday 30 November at 3pm. Doors of Perception explores the way in which we construct our understanding of daily reality. Azpilicueta is developing a performance especially commissioned for A Tale of a Tub, in which she plays with the characteristic space of the bathhouse and its pronounced acoustics. Heinrich will show her latest film. During Doors of Perception the view of a young teenager will be juxtaposed with the day to day experiences of two adults dealing with their bipolar condition.
