DAI-week number 1:
SCHEDULE DAI-WEEK 28 September - 2 October 2014
Introduction Week: a touring car will take us on a trip from Eindhoven to Amsterdam, via Arnhem, Rotterdam and Utrecht
While hitting the road DAI merges the finals of the 2013-2014 term with the launch of the 2014-2016 cycle by bringing graduating artists, 40 incoming and returning students, graduates, graduation candidates, alumni, tutors, guest tutors, friends and (at specific moments) members of the public together around works of art, a book launch, talks, performances, screenings and meals.

11:00 The exhibition Using the Museum:Dutch Art Institute at the Van Abbemuseum open to the public
13:00 arrival students at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven.
13:00 - 14:00 communal DAI-lunch & welcome (studio)
14.00: Opening speeches by Gabriëlle Schleijpen and Nick Aikens (studio)
14:40 Performance Sylvia Ulloa (studio)
14.55 Performance Malina Suleiman with Eduardo Cachucho (studio)
15:20 Workshop with Anneke Ingwersen (studio)
15:40 Tour with Michelle Brown (beginning at the Kormeling House)

17:00 - 18:30 DAI graduation ceremony in the museum's auditorium, followed by a toast in the museum's cafe. All welcome.
19:00 - 21:30 Communal DAI-dinner at Temporary Art Centre Eindhoven

Presentations curriculum 2014-2015, starting with an introduction to the course structure by Gabriëlle Schleijpen and an explanation on how students and the different projects will be matched.
