Explore your 'imagination' and fakery as a tool for improving your professional performance is the second proposal of "5 ½ Proposals to Work and Live in the Current Millennium". The event taking place in the neighborhood of Coolhaven is free of charge, and will combine film screenings, workshops, and live music. Come along and have lots of fun.

During this programme, we will screen the documentary film 'F for Fake' by Orson Welles, 'that shows the exciting life of a master of fakery in the art world'. Matthijs van Boxsel will offer a lecture in how to fail on a highest level (Course in Stupidity), followed by a workshop on how to become a master on making amazing fake CVs (including the CV portrait). Finally we will shake it up with a dance performance by the Batuco Women's group - Stichting Casa Tiberias.

Alongside these activities there will be an exhibition 'Ways of Working, according to An Office Desk', curated by Niekolaas Johannes Lekkerkerk at Upominki non profit art space, with works by: Anca Benera and Arnold Estefan, Céline Berger, Dina Danish, Jakup Ferri, David Horvitz, Sally O'Reilly and Colin Perry.

Het tweede proposal (voorstel) van 5 ½ Proposals to Work and Live in the Current Millennium vindt plaats in Coolhaven. We nodigen je uit voor een filmvertoning en een dagprogramma bestaande uit een lezing, een workshop en live muziek!

Tijdens dit proposal onderzoeken wij fantasieën en vervalsingen om deze als instrumenten in te zetten en zo onze professionele kant te verbeteren.
De documentaire F for Fake van Orson Welles wordt vertoond, waarin 'het boeiende leven te zien is van een meestervervalser in de kunstwereld'.

Matthijs van Boxsel geeft een lezing over hoe te falen op het hoogste niveau (Stoomcursus Domheid) en aansluitend is er een workshop waarin we onze CV's vervalsen (inclusief onze pasfoto!). Als afsluiting zal de Batuco damesgroep van Stichting Casa Tiberias ons laten swingen en bewegen met hun opzwepende muziek en teksten.

Tegelijkertijd is er de tentoonstelling Ways of Working, according to An Office Desk, gecureerd door Niekolaas Johannes Lekkerkerk in Upominki, een non-profit ruimte voor kunst. Met werken van Anca Benera en Arnold Estefan, Céline Berger, Dina Danish, Jakup Ferri, David Horvitz, Sally O'Reilly en Colin Perry.
