A Room Where We Conspire, Musically
Presentation by Hong-Kai Wang. Wang will present the "discussion series", which she has been developing over the past year. Previously staged in various frameworks and premises respectively in Copenhagen, Vienna, Rome and Taipei, this series explores how "discussion" as a commonplace social practice can be of critical potentiality and resistance as to avoid reproducing itself as a given mechanism.

For its first gathering, Publishing Class III will be joined by artist Christian Nyampeta, whose long-term research trajectory on the same question inspired the third phase of Publishing Class very much. Writer, Tea Hvala will workshop the question "how to conduct collective writing scenarios?"
10.00 - 13.00 Christian Nyampeta will talk about his research on Barthes, and then respond to the question: "Imagine a room (drawing from your concerns and vision) in the scope of your practice. Use this room to discern a speculative method and a mode for producing a theory around the question of living together."
14.00 - 17.00 Continued writing exercises. Additional writing and individual writing will have to be followed up outside the DAI week along with homework.
