Abstract

The aim of this text is to witness and investigate, from an artistic-philosophical-psychoanalytical point of view, possible paths beyond the limits and borders of colonial and occupation thinking. It looks closely at practices of refusing the validity of a way of seeing the world that purports to be universal, which is the support of Western epistemology. Based on the writings of Etel Adnan, in her book A Journey to the Mount Tamalpais, a vital entanglement is drawn, subject-home-world, in an effort to dismantle walls and think about places of radical care, with a view to multiple forms of existence and possibilities of coexistence. In this sense, the arguments are formulated and implications are pointed out for a migrant cosmopoetics, sustained by an errant practice, which takes place in an intermediate area of experience that could be called in-between.

Keywords: errancy, exile, art, subjectivity, migrant cosmopoetics
