Nesos and Villa Santa Lucia

Nesos is a non-profit association based on Lipari that focuses on nature, sustainable tourism, and biodiversity research and conservation. In addition to organizing guided tours on the Aeolian Islands territory, it promotes volunteer activities for trail restoration and awareness. Recent projects focused on preserving an endemic lizard species native to the Aeolian Islands and a monitoring project on the local seabird populations.

Since 2020 an 18th-century villa in the heart of Lipari's urban center has opened its spaces to the public, organizing book presentations, art exhibitions, and several cultural events. The villa's spaces also host a "Little museum of the Aeolian faiences."
