Abstract
This paper examines the concept of a polyphonic womb as a space of constant sonic resonance, a continuum emanating intertwining sounds. The polyphonic womb examines collective survival as feminist, queer survival in its cyclicality, transformation and infinity, as well as silence and sound as inseparable and liquid, opening all holes to listening. The process of learning to listen to non-hierarchical sound investigates the politics of listening and the deformation of non-hierarchical sound by the human animal. The moment of listening becomes the moment of sharing and transformation.
