CHTO DELAT  
"When the Roots Start to Move and Get Lost"

The exhibition is inaugurating a new research trajectory of State of Concept, entitled The Bureau of Care,  a project that was awarded the solidarity grant of the European Cultural Foundation for 2020. 

The collective has been making it their task to carefully craft a collective proposition of the commons as an artistic path, through an embodied politics of care.

The group is preoccupied with realising a lot of (im)possibilities in relationship to the power structures that concern education and its systems.
The collective uses the encounters between what has come to be known as the West with the rest of the world, from a Russian perspective of a geopolitical positioning that stands somewhere in an other place. The exhibition traces the common thread in the practice of Chto Delat of notions of repair and regeneration, looking into the politics of care through the work of political movements, collectives and civil society. 

The exhibition will present an array of video works and textiles from their decades long trajectory, as well as a new commission, that is conceived together with The Open School for Migrants in Piraeus and puppeteer Stathis Markopoulos.

This new commision is co-produced with Framer Framed, Amsterdam and will be presented in its final form in the Netherlands in 2021.
