Kerstin Stakemeier
Kerstin Stakemeier is a professor of art theory and -mediation at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg. With Manuela Ammer, Eva Birkenstock, Jenny Nachtigall and Stephanie Weber she is the initiator of the long-term exhibition, magazine and discussion project Klassensprachen/ Class Languages (from 17). She was the initiator of the "Space for Actualization" (with Nina Köller, Hamburg 07/08) and a researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academie (Maastricht, 09/10). She published a.o. "Painting-The Implicit Horizon" (2012) with Avigail Moss and "Power of Materials/Politics of Material” and “The Present of the Future“ (2014-16) with Susanne Witzgall. She writes a.o. for Artforum, Texte zur Kunst. In 2016, “Reproducing Autonomy“ (with Marina Vishmidt) came out, in 2017 „Entgrenzter Formalismus“(b_books) was published.
