The ambitious goal of the Bauhaus was to change society. How can we think of culture as a social project today? What connections did Bauhaus have with non-European Modernism? bauhaus imaginista, curated by Marion von Osten and Grant Watson, illuminates this in exhibitions and events in places such as Morocco, China, and Brazil. A web journal compiles articles by artists and researchers. Till July 8, 2018: Moving Away, China Design Museum / China Academy of Art, Hangzhou and Goethe-Institut China. In 2019, HKW will show the exhibition chapter Still Undead and reflect on global perspectives.
