Okwui Enwezor (3 October 1963, Calabar, Nigeria - 15 March 2019, Munich, Germany) was a brilliant curator, author, art critic, lecturer and the artistic director of Documenta11, the worldwide intellectual and artistic research project ( 4 platforms) that culminated in the groundbraking exhibition (platform 5) in 2002. It was Gabriëlle Schleijpen's first educational move as DAI director, to bring the 2002 DAI-community to Kassel to celebrate this, to her personally, hugely formative decolonial "pluriversity" which continues to inspire our work at the DAI till this very day. We commend dokumenta archive for the creation of the virtual Platform6 which will explore Documenta11 and the ongoing relevance of questions raised at the time. The focus is on discourses about truth, globalization, forms of collectivity and solidarity.
