in a session with filmmaker and critic Kevin B. Lee, assisted by artist, writer and researcher Marianna Maruyama, participating DAI-students and alumni will practice methods of "life editing" and "life navigation" through personal technology, to reflect critically upon their own everyday practices of personal media production. Using "desktop documentary" and other innovative approaches, participants will explore the nature of contemporary social media narrative and self-representation. The session will lead up to active participation in Roaming Assembly#13 THE NAVIGATION PRINCIPLE (convened by Doreen Mende) on Sunday, April 23 at Huis Oostpool.
Please contact Peter Sattler at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your participation (it is fine to briefly leave the session for your face to face meetings (max two)). Alumni are most welcome and DAI can offer some help in order to realize their participation.
