An evening with Alexandra Navratil where she will talk about vertigo, formlessness, fragility and symptoms of exhaustion in relation to her work.
Alexandra Navratil (Zurich 1978) lives and works in Zurich and Amsterdam. She graduated from Goldsmiths College in London in 2007. Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions at the SMBA Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam, Kunstmuseum Winterthur, Dan Gunn Berlin, CCS Centre Culturel Suisse Paris, BolteLang Zurich and in groupshows at the ICA Philadelphia and the MUSAC, Spain amongst other venues. In 2013 she was awarded the Manor Prize Zurich and in 2009 and 2012 the Swiss Art Award.
The evening was curated by Alena Alexandrova in the context of seminar Anarcheologies ( part of our course How To Do Things With Theory). Alena Alexandrova will also introduce the lecture.
