Tuesday April 8: DAI & If I Can't Dance welcome members of ArtTableNederland for a day of meetings and presentations in Arnhem

The platform ArtTableNederland offers prominent women who are professionally engaged in the visual arts (mediators, educators, administrators, collectors etcetera) scope to meet each other, make contacts and become more knowledgeable, with the objective of learning from and stimulating each other. Currently, ArtTableNederland has more than one hundred members.

On Tuesday April 8 Gabriëlle Schleijpen and Frederique Bergholtz will welcome a group of ArtTable members and introduce them to both programs, the DAI, as well as If I Can't Dance and to the collaborations, past and present, between the two organizations.

Program: 

12:00 Arrival & welcome 
12:15 Tour & talk Gabriëlle Schleijpen - What is DAI  

13:00 Lunch in the DAI's cantina, together with all students and tutors 

14:00 Talk Frederique Bergholtz - What is If I Can't Dance I Don't Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution

14.30 Talk by Aarti Sunder, student from Chennai, India in her first year at the DAI and participant in If I Can't Dance's 2013-2014 class Appropriation and Dedication

14.45 Talk by Veridiana Zurita , artist from Sao Paulo,Brazil,  DAI alumna and currently associate researcher at a.pass in Brussels.

15.05  introduction by Frederique Bergholtz to the film 'Bete & Deise' by the artist ( and tutor at DAI) Wendelien van Oldenborgh, produced by If I Can't Dance I Don't Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution

15.10 Screening Bete & Deise (nl/br 2012, 40min) followed by drinks and discussion

16.30 End of program

 ArtTable members interested in the DAI 's evening program with Chto Delat are welcome to stay over for the dinner as well.
