ISTANBUL: Lado Darakhvelidze at the 11th Istanbul Biennial
Students, staff and (some of) DAI's faculty are traveling to Istanbul to attend the opening of the 11th Istanbul Biennial,'What Keeps Mankind Alive ?', curated by WHW.
One of the participating artists is Lado Darakhvelidze, currently a master student at the DAI. Lado will show his project Ideal Media, an installation with black boards and rocking chairs that taps into our daily ritual of `consuming media´.
Location: the "Greek school", Ferikoy-i-Hurriyet Cadessi No 5, Istanbul, not far from Taksim square.
