CRYING WITH FRIENDS ~ Maxima Smith’s AEROPONIC ACT ~ all grads 2023 slicing onions DAI @Centrale Fies, Dro, Italy.

WELCOME TO OUR ADMISSIONS TRAJECTORY 2024, WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE DECIDED FOR A THIRD ADMISSIONS ROUND:

DEADLINE MAY 10 (before 23:59:59 CET/UTC +1)

This final final round is for EU passport-holders + for eventual non-EU passportholders who are NOT applying for the ArtEZ & NL Scholarships.

The DEADLINE for the SECOND ADMISSIONS ROUND (MARCH 25, 2024) has now passed.

Thank you all for your (many, many) applications.

We are currently carefully reading through all of them. If selected for an interview you will be informed about this no later than the 16th of April. Interviews will follow suit.

The DEADLINE 15 March, 2024 WAS THE EXCLUSIVE PRIORITY LANE  for non-EU passportholders, who, if accepted into our program want to apply for the ArtEZ Scholarships & NL Scholarships . Important note: the highly competetive selection process for the ArtEZ and NL scholarships is centrally organised and steered by the ArtEZ University of the Arts, not by the DAI. The deadline for applications is MAY 1, 2024.

What happens after I have filed my application?

Read here about the process which is set in motion after we have received your application (within the given deadline).

APPLICATION FORM

Before you move onwards to the 2024-2026 APPLICATION FORM,  we trust that you have carefully studied

DAI's admission requirements.

If further questions come up that were not answered by your in-depth scan of our website you are welcome to make connection:

admissions@dutchartinstitute.eu

Next step: carefully read about the documents DAI will need from you to send along with the application form ( without them your application can not be accepted).

Our online application form has two parts and should always be completed in English.

The first part (below) takes just a minute to fill in. You'll then receive an e-mail containing a unique link that will allow you to access the second part of our application.

In the second part, you'll be asked to respond to a few questions about your art/curatorial/writing/research practice and reflect on what the space of art and research can offer under current conditions. You'll be able to work on this second part online, save your work as you go, make changes, and take as much time as you need before choosing to submit your answers.

We hope you enjoy thinking through and addressing yourself to the application questions and we look forward to receive your completed application!
