DAI Confluence 7 ~ July 10 till 19, 2026

Dear DAI-students, dear COOP-tutors + COOP-guests,

We are nearing the COOP's annual 'grand finale' in the form of the COOP SUMMIT - the thoughtful and generous intra-action between all students, tutors, guests, and "the public".

For the 9 upcoming days we will gratefully (re)connect with our local cultural host Tower Art Museum (TAM) and our educational partners Palestra, and with spaces and people - all unimaginable without the labour and facilitation of Elisa Giuliano (Archipelago Weaver 2026) and Marco Laterza (local research, guidance and support).

The first four days of our stay will be entirely dedicated to intensive, collaborative preparations towards COOP SUMMIT 2026 ~ leading up to our three-day assemblage of happenings on the 15th, 16th and 17th of July.

Our final day in Matera marks the closing of the academic year 2025-2026, which for our precious 2nd year students signifies the 'end' of their two-year journey with DAI. July 18th is therefore entirely dedicated to their farewell. We will sing our hearts out while ceremoniously mourning their departure.

Important to mention are the weather conditions: it is going to be VERY WARM ~ so please take care of yourselves and of others ~ including the humans of the institution. Drink enough water and be careful with alcohol.

You are strongly advised to return to the BULLETIN to find updates and advices on a daily basis. Scroll over this page to have a close and attentive look at the list of names of tutors, guests, crew + local collaborators, all present to contribute to your study and well-being.

We have sent out invitations to the COOP SUMMIT via mail and Instagram. The day to day section of this BULLETIN already leads you to each COOP's distinct invite.

Cheers & speak soon,

Gabriëlle, Leire & core crew for this Confluence: Flip, Elisa, Jacq, Peter, Sophia.
