This is an invitation to listen, to travel between, as our inverted mouths are meeting in a kiss,

we gather as one squeaking body reenacting a rehearsal

           to encounter native languages, to meet vowels and t-p-s-k.
           to desire, adding to what’s already there, surveilling self, consciousness.

Valley-acoustics, trusting vowels and everything before, between and beyond inverted inner ears.
This begins and ends with listening.
An air mattress full of moist breath in 40+° Matera – a foreign body and it listens.

Score, scoring sound, and body,
hurdle, swarm.
