A score: we shared notes and images from the last coop gathering in Breda, Netherlands. From talking about vowels and mother tongue, we asked these questions: 

      What is the interval of the translation?
      Is there something missing? 
      Is something added?

to grasp the thought 

We perform a score of translations and reflections on the intervals (i intervaller / med mellemrum), the gaps between languages.

rigid body, cracks, emerging from the centre, feathers spreading, connecting downwards, connecting upwards

rigid krop, revner, udspringer fra centeret, fjer spreder sig, forbindes nedad, forbindes opad. 

“udspringer” - the Danish word for “emerging”, directly translates into “out-jumps” - adding a flavor of explosion to things emerging. Is “ukrudt/weeds” emerging between stones explosive? the word “ukrudt” is very close to the word “krudt”, meaning gunpowder.

We discussed the in between of doing and showing “doing” & I and me. From there I arrived at the notion that in other languages; there is no separation for I and me (minä) and in between (väli≃gap, space, relation→ välittää≃to care about, to supply/pass on) signifies also a bunch of different-than-english. I think in Turkish there also isn’t a difference between I and me.

          In Danish we don't push together the “let/lad” and the “us/os” - we don't say “lad’s”. We are not efficient in that way. At least not in writing - though in speaking we often swallow a lot of letters. The “lad os” is pronounced “laås” - In that way Danish is quite an excluding language to people who are forced to learn it to gain citizenship. 
The written Danish language is a code that can be deciphered into speak if you know the word on the forehand.

each time you come back to an idea, a sound, an image, it's in order to go a little bit further, somewhere else, not to come back to the same. We start from listening.  never a question of reproducing sameness. always a question of reproducing in difference with difference, repetition and difference go together; they are not in conflict with one another.
