2025 - 2026 FACTORY student led: No(te) problem

APRIL 20, 2026

Led by Moss Lutz

When: 18:00 - 19:30

Location: TBA

As someone who loves note-taking, I have had a hard time trying to keep track of the many references that we get exposed to in DAI. I take so many notes! So I actually had to find a way to organize them. I think I am getting somewhere near the end of the program and I would like to share the process with you.

The tool I use the most right now is LogSeq, this is an open-source tool that allows you to upload PDF documents, make word-webs, keeps track of what you said on which day, has flashcard system for difficult words and more. I love this new system but taking notes in Microsoft paint and paper notebooks have captured my heart forever <3 so I am still finding a balance.

I hope this factory will lead to an in-dept conversation about note-taking in which we can share the advantages of our different methods, so that we can exchange our knowledge and resources on this topic. Also if you feel like you don’t have any knowledge because you feel like you suck at taking notes, let’s talk about it, yay. We can share tips and tricks on how to make note-taking more fun, effective, embodied, focused, somatic, goofy, evil, interdisciplinary, communal, feral, whatever! Take your notes with you :)

This student initiative is facilitated by DAI by making it part of the syllabus 2025-2026 and by providing space and time for gathering. It is embedded in the curriculum component WEAVER and participation is credited with ECTS.
