Erika Lastovskytė

Erika Lastovskytė is a curator, producer, and researcher working at the intersection of contemporary art and archaeology. She focuses on the legacy of Marija Gimbutas, examining how contemporary artists engage with archaeological narratives, methodologies, and material cultures.

She is the founder of Flusso, an interdisciplinary platform based in southern Italy, and curator of Archaeomythologies, a residency and research programme exploring prehistoric sites and cultures, their cosmologies, mythologies, knowledge systems, and ritual practices, and how these inform contemporary cultural and ontological inquiry.

Alongside her research-led practice, Erika  works as a producer for Eglė Budvytytė’s project for the Lithuanian Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale, and maintains an editorial and translation practice focused on art writing and experimental literature.
