We think you should give these a read! Dalia Maini (DAI, 2022-2024) is a writer, spoken words performer, cultural agitator, alongside being the Arts of the Working Class editor in chief. They recently wrote a review titled The Gap That We Have to Bridge over on the AWC website. The account by Dalia is from the forum Culture as a Commons held at Museion, and how resolving tensions must be in conversation, where institutions holding resources and power listen to those more marginalised and act upon their needs, protecting the practices that the market would destroy. The same refusal of erasure animates Theresa Zwerschke's (DAI 2021-2023) text, Living Repertoires Against Possessive Preservation. Theresa works as an artist, writer and organiser. She is the co-initiator of Catwings and part of the Arts of the Working Class team. Through the exhibition Erasure at Goodwood Art Foundation, she traces how knowledge passed hand to hand resists the Western impulse to preserve rather than sustain.
