Indrė Umbrasaitė
Indrė Umbrasaitė is an architect and researcher, working on projects embracing architecture and landscape in communication with art, design, and curatorship. Trained as an artist and architect in Vilnius and Vienna, Indrė's professional experience includes both practice and academia. She is a former assistant professor at the Studio Kazuyo Sejima Vienna (Angewandte) and the Institute of Architecture and Landscape (TU Graz), lecturer at the Department of Architectural Theory and Philosophy of Techniques (TU Vienna), she currently leads Natures-Cultures Studio in the Critical Creative Practices Master’s programme at the Free University of Bolzano, Italy. She is the co-founder of Studio SOL (ATTP, TU Vienna), member of Climate Visions Lab (MIT, Cambridge MA), and editor of several publications. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2012, 2016 and 2018 (the Swamp School), 2025, and Critical Zones at ZKM Karlsruhe in 2020–21, among others.
