The code is wet. You open your laptop. Syntax loops. Feedback curls. The screen wants to touch you back.

We create ambient, generative soundscapes through live coding with Strudel.cc, a browser-based platform for real-time musical composition. We’ll explore the basics of crafting loops and textures in code, slowly layering a collective sonic environment. This is a shared space of listening and resonance. As our loops begin to overlap we shifts into a collective AlgoRave sound bath. Brew a mood. Code. Rest. Exist.

Bring your laptop (Strudel runs in your browser). No experience needed—just play, intuition, and a bit of copy-paste.

 

This student initiative is facilitated by DAI by making it part of the syllabus 2025-2026 and by providing space and time for gathering. It is embedded in the curriculum component WEAVER and participation is credited with ECTS.
