Our stupendous alumni Ines Marita Schärer (DAI 2016 - 2018) has been very busy this past year! In recent months, they dived deeply into sound studies, for example with the Sound Craft Workshop, or SOUND ARGUMENTS, an innovative laboratory-atelier, organised from the Orpheus Institute in Ghent and the University of Leiden (NL), or FORME, electroacoustic/acousmatic music training at MUSIQUES & RECHERCHES, with composer Annette Vande Gorne. Ines is soon to be publishing a poetry collection, working on it together with Vera Ida Müller and Sophie Thomas from VEXER VERLAG, Berlin. They are also contributing to the upcoming Issue No. 6, DEARS MAGAZINE, SENSING BODIES which will be published in the beginning of 2026. Save the date! Ines will launch Readings at Vario Basel, 22nd Feb 2026 at 4.00pm. They are participating right now at the exhibition A TABLE, Jahresausstellung der Bündner Künstler*innen, Bündner Kunstmuseum, Chur, CH, between 14th Dec - 25th Jan 2026. They are also participating in the 6 month PiP PROGRAM from Jan - Jun 2026 at the Institute for Postnatural Studies, as well as attending the LISTENING ACADEMY in Lisbon, On Elemental Collaboration (Listening Biennial) between 19th - 22nd Jan 2026. Ines also will be on residency in February 2026 at Q-O2, workspace for experimental music and sound art, Brussels, and on residency at HET CONCREET, Tilburg, NL in May 2026, broadcasting 6 episodes from Oct 2025 to Mar 2026 of the WITHING SESSIONS for RADIO WORM, Rotterdam, NL. In 2024 they graduated as a Fascia Practitioner, currently offering FASCIA SESSIONS, in Saint Gilles, Brussels.
