The Supervisory Board of ArtEZ (DAI's "parent" University of the Arts), after quite some years of repeating crises at the overriding level of governance, has appointed Frank Kresin and Jeroen Visser as new Executive Board. Both will take office on 16 March, 2026. DAI welcomes their positioning with cautious optimism: Frank Kresin: “Especially when everything is shifting, we need the arts to question, disrupt and imagine, so that new perspectives can emerge.” ~~~~ Jeroen Visser: “ I want to contribute... by ensuring that everyone here can work and study well-supported and with autonomy.” We at DAI look forward to spirited debates about the politics of ArtEZ and will definitely remind Frank and Jeroen of their initial statements, whenever relevant !
