Astonishing alumni Cristina Ramos González (DAI 2022 - 2024) has been cooking up a storm since they were a student with us! Several projects they have developed recently are inspired by the teachings they received during their studies at DAI. They were resident editor at Barcelona-based magazine A-Desk, about the use of the voice in artistic practices. Snejanka Mihaylova (COOP tutor with If I Can't Dance from 2020 till 2025 ) also contributed!
They also worked on a body of curatorial research around a river in Barcelona with a group of artists and scientists. Introducing performative methodologies in the research and the presentation. The voice is also very present in thinking about what is in between the human body and the river, both bodies of water with very different symmetries.
