SCORE FOR REMEMBERING

(composed from what stayed in the body)

meow
MEOW

fail to hold the 1.5°C limit
fail at the failure of international law
fail at the failure of failure
fail at humanity
apply scale to failure: justice, responsibility, distance, implication
let scale change the way failure moves in you

breathe air
breathe lungs
breathe the sounds of breath
notice different cultures of breathing
ask whose breathing is supported
ask whose breathing is threatened

sit in a café and let the room compose you
let crescendos tighten everything
let machines puff, spoons clink, objects drop
let the murmur return
let a single sound catch all your attention
remember how bodies in a room reacted to one another

rewrite healing
remove the fixed ending
shed shame layer by layer
touch the phantom limb, the fog, the wound
keep the scar
let it open
let it leak
stitch it again
acknowledge the wound that stays

refuse video-game healing
eat no herb that restores you in an instant
heal without promises

compose listeners
resonate as shared condition

remember you are an organism of molecules in motion
sound waves, movement, vibration:
these are conditions you are made to meet

treat resonance not as metaphor
but as physical capacity
as relational state

re-sonate:
sound again
extend what is already vibrating
continue what exceeds origin

feel the tension with hyper-individualism
question the fantasy of the separate unit
notice the hollowness of speaking merely to be unique
let meaning arise in relation
let subjectivity form in resonance

consider consciousness not as property
but as event
occurring between
in the vibrations shared
in the echoes continued
in the movements co-created

be a body of bodies

I am enough
you’re enough
we’re enough

leave the student body

let thoughts drift

compose listeners

focus at least 80% of your attention on listening

then the magic happens by itself

from this, think of resonance as shared condition

recall the material fact:

you are an organism of molecules and matter in constant motion

sound waves

movement

vibration

these are conditions you are structurally made to meet

treat resonance not as metaphor

but as physical capacity

as relational state

re-sonate

sound again

extend what is already vibrating

continue rather than begin

feel the tension

between resonance

and hyper-individualism

question the fantasy of being separate

exceptional

self-contained

notice the hollowness of speaking only to be singular

feel the lack of ground

sense how meaning arises in relation

not isolation

consider mutual consciousness

occurring between

in shared vibrations

in echoes continued

in intervals held together

in movements co-created

be a body of bodies

stand inside a net of branches
let the sky burn through the gaps
feel the world glowing behind what remains leafless
notice how warmth filters through complexity
remember that some brightness only arrives filtered

listen for the slow time of a steeple
measure breath in hours not seconds
let the landscape widen your ribs
feel how a village arranges itself around a point of resonance
feel how distance softens everything

sense the body as lookout tower
sense the horizon as exhale

stand where stillness holds a kind of rhythm

stand in the corner
face what cannot face you back
place your breath against the wall
let the wall listen
let sound travel into the cracks

remain where sight cannot guide you
remain until the wall answers in silence
let the corner echo nothing back

learn something about resonance from a surface that refuses to resonate
learn something about yourself from the echo that doesn’t return

let the room decide the shape of the group

let bodies distribute themselves like breath in a lung
let the group expand and collapse without instruction

listen to the quiet choreography

let the room be the instrument

sit where the light lands
lie where the floor supports you

practice being together without facing each other
practice listening without performing attention
practice resting as a collective skill

be many orientations
be many distances
be one porous body
