2025 - 2026 FACTORY student led: Peer2Peer / Word2Word: Thesis Work-out Session

Peer2Peer / Word2Word: Thesis Work-out Session
Led by Despina Sanida Crezia
When: 11:00 - 13:00
Location: Textile Workshop
Peer2Peer / Word2Word is a Factory where students gather to co-work on their thesis writing process in a roaming context and a shifting world. This is not a space for showing off or comparing how far one has gone into their thesis. It’s a spacetime for strengthening the muscle of writing in order to attain flow and tackle the individual obstacles through collective work and sharing. How do we transform our blockages into questions? How does bibliography work when the world changes at the speed of light? How to bring more people into the conversation? What goes into the footnotes and what into the main text? What is a main text anyway? How to stand in front of a screen?
In light of these questions, we hold each other’s hands while typing and peeping into each other’s texts not to steal anything, but to give the right push. We work it out and sweat in words, boosted by the electrolytes of proximity.

As some of us are just beginning — and others already well into — our thesis journeys, we will co-curate and co-lead this space, starting from this confluence and moving forward, as a peer-to-peer support hub for collective counseling, feedback, and mutual care.
Together, we will explore both the conceptual and practical aspects of the thesis process — from theoretical frameworks and research methodologies to the state of the art, along with tools and technologies that can help us bring our work into this hectic world under the best possible conditions.
