TWO astounding DAI alumni present their work at the Jan van Eyck open studios 2025: Saverio Cantoni (DAI 2022-2024) and Noam Youngrak Son (DAI 2022 - 2024). Jan van Eyck director Hicham Khalidi acted as external expert to the DAI’s 2025 accreditation process, and joined us for 2 days in Cyprus, for which we are HUGELY grateful. The Jan van Eyck Academie invites you to the annual Open Studios! For three consecutive days, some 40 international artists, designers – food, fashion, social, graphic, – performers, curators, writers, and other researchers will present the processes and outcomes of their residency period.

PROGRAMME
The public will be able to discover a wide array of installations, workshops, and talks addressing urgent topics on the global agenda. The cohort will present their work through screenings and daily performances, and a special Writers' Programme will present yet unpublished work and literary experiments by the Jan van Eyck writers and other participants–in–residency. In-Lab participants will be broadcasting all sounds and noises of this year's group and Future Materials Fellows will hold new material demonstrations. The Jan van Eyck Food Lab and Nature Research will join forces in delivering environmentally friendly treats, and, as in previous years, Limestone Books will return to the Printing & Publishing Lab with a selection of participant books for sale.
