Sonic Iconic was initiated as a platform for exchange beyond verbal communication. It became a way of coming together during the confluences, sharing what’s in our heads through sound, without the need to explain.

snow covers, but not erase

layers hold heat, memory, movement

hidden resonances

we meet to share sound on jan 19th at 20.30 —  

up to 20 minutes of an offering:  

collage, mix, drift, rupture, stillness.

bring what keeps you warm, what you found hidden under layers of data or snow.

Autumn has settled in, the nights are freezing cold, and the year itself is slowly fading. Inspired by the eeriness of PAF, we lean into the sense of residue and offer a theme this time “ghostly matters”.

We invite you to join us in coming together under sound, beyond verbal communication, to listen, or to offer a 20-minute auditory experience: a collage, DJ set, mixtape, surreal, strange, danceable or not.

If you’d like to offer a set, DM us. Priority will be given to people who haven’t played yet.
