How can we trace inherited desires?

In my Aeroponic Acts, I will present audiovisual works that evoke the spirit of our family business. I will spend my 20 minutes with the specter of our business, which embodies our family field of roses.

Although roses are one of the most politicized flowers, here they will not play the role of a symbol, but will represent the traces of our steps, which we take almost every day and which are guided by the idea of our own independence. This desire is dynamic. However, its origin point is unclear, as is its direction.

For this purpose, I would like to combine a video projection (power of spectre) and a physical performance (body of spectre). I see this work as a natural continuation of my latest work for DAI Kitchen: How to write a love letter to ghosts.

What kind of seeds grow desire? will be performed on Friday 8 August at Centrale Fies in Dro as part of the AEROPONIC ACTS 2025: CHOREIA.
