The Mountain Hangs Overhead ~ Thursday, June 26 from 17:00 till 19:00 ~ COOP SUMMIT 2025
The Curating Positions: Voz de Tierra COOP group will stage a choreographed live montage encouraging the audience to continually shift their gaze through an unfurling of multi-channel screenings, participatory interventions, and recorded and live sound. Using lights, gestures and stage directions the group will guide the audience through their repository of research, vocal echoes, linguistic spirals and encounters with abandoned space. Changing the axis between empty cinemas, disintegrating airports and animal voyeurs, we make space to practice the labour of listening. Informed by literature, land film, haptic language and dreams, the group will take the audience on a speculative guided tour of their research through tactile signals, patterns, and frequency changes.
