Stavros Papavassiliou
Stavros Papavassiliou is a London-based architect and researcher specialised in remote sensing techniques. He is a current PhD student at the Centre for Research Architecture, Goldsmiths, University of London. His research evaluates the role of the strictly technocratic applications of remote sensing technologies in authoritarian political ecologies, through spatial investigations of contemporary and historical instrumentalisations of forest fires in Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.
