Haig Aivazian

Haig Aivazian is an artist living in Beirut. His practice grapples with the metamorphic nature of 3 technologies: artificial light, computation and law. Working across diverse media and modes of address, his work is animated by research and chance discoveries, where history is an omnipresent hum that conjures and bumps up against degraded futures and the persistent efforts to survive them.

Between 2020-2022, Aivazian was Artistic Director of the Beirut Art Center where he was founding editor of thederivative.org

On the 24th and 25th of March, 2025 Haig Aivazian will join the DAI@SPEL in Nicosia, to respond to Kitchen presentations by 19 DAI students.

On the 26th of March, 2025 Haig will contribute to Roaming Assembly#32 ~ Ever Given.
