Admissions OPEN
Now more than ever the Dutch Art Institute seeks to bring together a variety of praxes, languages, experiences, intuitions and queering positions, a plurivocal band of great people whom we believe will be able to connect with each other in an interesting, deep way through shared poetical and political sensibilities, struggles and solidarities, rather than disciplining similarities.
Our campaign this year departs from the durational performance Meta/Mega TRANS - Modes of Narration ~ an inquiry into the opacity of the creation of collectivity ~ the outcome of a year-long collaboration between our Roaming Academy & Archive Ensemble (Berlin, Dakar, Milan). Written & performed by the participants in COOP study group Choreopoethics: undisciplined corporeal publishing and choreographic planning (Annette Rodriguez Fiorillo, Antonia Rebekka Truninger, Astrée Duval, Clara von Schantz, Claudia Medeiros, Dalia Maini, Gamze Öztürk, Gloria Sogl, Jafar The Superstar, Julia von Schantz, Lena Pfäffli, Louis Schou-Hansen, Noam Youngrak Son, Öykü Özgencil, Rex Collins, Zoé Couppe ) and guided by tutors Samira Ghoualmia, Lilia Di Bella and Chiara Figone. Generously hosted by Dar Souiri ~ Association Essaouira Mogador on September 7, 2024 as part of the DAI's COOP SUMMIT 2024 in Essaouira, Morocco.
