Jan-Pieter 't Hart ~ Keywords: sonic, text, remix, organizing, publishing, coziness

Jan-Pieter is an artist and art worker based in Amsterdam (NL) with a mostly collaborative practice in the fields of writing, sound, publishing and organizing. He is interested in the method of the remix as a tool for artistic production, focusing on the ethics of sharing and receiving, the politics of description and the poetics of association. His projects are conversational and relational, with an insistence on proximity, accessibility, playfulness and unoriginality. Jan-Pieter is part of a floating collective and publishing platform called Outline, runs a monthly radio show on Stranded FM (Utrecht, NL), was film curator at Filmtheater Kriterion (Amsterdam) and recently joined the curatorial team of OT301 (Amsterdam). He will start a research residency with Outline at Het Nieuwe Instituut/NADD (Rotterdam, NL) in September 2022.
