Marwan (= Tirza Kater (DAI, 2018) & Tim Mathijsen) has the pleasure to invite you to the opening of The Shaving Horse, the first solo exhibition of Olga Micińska (DAI, 2018) in Amsterdam.

"Someone seems to be caring for something in this room, but it remains unclear why and how and to what end. The installation is thus urging us to explore the gaps between economy on the one hand and making, thinking and caring on the other."*

*from "Shaving horses and other stories from the home", a text that Hilde Heynen, professor of architectural theory at the KU Leuven has written to accompany the exhibition.

Gezellige opening on Friday, February 15, 5 pm - 9 pm.

The Shaving Horse is on view till March 17. Save the date Sunday, March 10 for an afternoon talk with Prof. Hilde Heynen and Olga Micińska.

Marwan is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 pm to 5 pm and by appointment.

What we do would not be possible without Galerie AKINCI.

+ many thanks to Chloé Sapelkin, Daan Simons, Faysal Mroueh, Prof. Hilde Heynen, Joke Aarnink, Kitty Maria and Lex Kater.
