Tirza Kater (DAI, 2018) & Tim Mathijsen (together they are Marwan) have the pleasure to invite you to Die Gehaltene Hand,  the first solo exhibition of Christiane Blattmann in Amsterdam.

| tag: Amsterdam

Is a hand that is being held supported in the action of holding for its own increasing weakness? Or is a double support of holding just twice as strong? A hand that is held by another is the beginning of a system. Why would a hand be held by another? Out of love and affection? Or more out of pity and compassion? Held hands are a hot-blooded structure.

Opening on September 8, 5:30 pm-8:30 pm

Die Gehaltene Hand is on till October 7
Marwan will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00-6:00 pm and by appointment

Marwan has been making exhibitions in their studio at Czaar Peterstraat in Amsterdam for the past years, and are continuing this practice at Fokke Simonszstraat 12, Amsterdam. This would not be possible without Galerie AKINCI.

+ thank you to Jannis Marwitz, Rabea Ridlhammer, Faysal Mroueh and
