2017 - 2019 Polly Wright (UK)

Polly Wright obtained a BA in Criticism, Curation and Communication from Central Saint Martins (University of the Arts London). Polly has considerable experience working in independent curatorial projects, in venues such as Whitechapel Gallery, and with artists such as Francesco Pedraglio. Previously, she worked as the programme coordinator Art on the Underground, an original initiative that commissions work by contemporary artists for the London subway system (Daniel Buren, Liam Gillick, and Turner Prize-winners Assemble, among others). More recently, Polly has co-curated a 48-hour event at The Brick Cube, London, presented, in her own words, as ‘an opportunity to connect with the local area of Clapton. Responding to the temporary industrial space in North London, in between existence and destruction, the evocative structure lay open and implied generosity, questioning preconceptions of domestic space and of environment.’
