The program offers artists the opportunity to spend three months in Moriya, Ibaraki, at ARCUS. The residency offers time for dedicated research as well as a production budget for works created during the residency.

Each year ARCUS invites an open call from artists which is then selected by the ARCUS Project Administrator Committee and jury.

The two other selected artists are – Timoteus Anggawan Kusno (Indonesia) and Stephanie Bickford-Smith (UK)

The final selection was made by Ms. Shihoko Iida (Guest curator 2015 / Curator / Associate Professor, Department of InterMedia Art, Faculty of Fine Art, Tokyo University of the Arts ) and Mr. Fumio Nanjo (ARCUS Project Adviser / Director of Mori Art Museum)
