Facing Pages is the leading biennale on independent magazines in Europe. During several days the city centre of Arnhem will be transformed into a free haven for magazine makers and lovers. Facing Pages will host a symposium with lectures and magazine presentations, exhibitions, parties and more to celebrate the power of print!

Please inform g.schleijpen@artez.nl if you, as a DAI-student, want to attend one or two days of the symposium on the 28th and 29th of March. For DAI-students a couple of "free entrance passes" are made available.

MAIN EXHIBITION:

28 MARCH - 7 APRIL
Dutch Art Institute (DAI) - Kortestraat 27 - Arnhem, the Netherlands
The exhibition is the beating heart of the biennale. Everyone is browsing through magazines, showing copies to each other and getting inspired in a very relaxing environment.

Everyone could send their magazine this year, making the exhibition a library with a broad collection of the independent magazines made today.

The Publishing Class will be present with a portable bookshelf designed and executed by Mathew Kneebone (WT)and containing PC publications of the past years. Current DAI-student Aarti Sunder will be there to sell publications and to engage in conversation with the visitors.
