Febuary 10: Monday

The first day of this DAI-week is reserved for the three projects that together form the so-called COOP ACADEMY. Today the students participating in the different projects will split up and travel to Eindhoven, Amsterdam or Arnhem.

10:00: Using the Museum, curated and tutored by the Van Abbemuseum;

with project leader Nick Aikens, Steven ten Thije, Christiane Berndes and Willem Smit

10:00: Appropriation and Dedication, curated and tutored by If I Can't Dance; with project leader Tanja Baudoin and guest tutor Emily Roysdon

Location: Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam

13:00-21:00 Publishing Class IV: Community in Print, curated and tutored by Casco; with project leader Yolande van der Heide in the company of Janine Armin and guest tutor Benjamin Thorel

Today the PC-session includes a screening of the documentary Sonsbeek buiten de perken [Sonsbeek Out of Bounds or freely as: "Sonsbeek Let Loose"] (1971), 47:50 min by Jef Cornelis, exclusively for this group.

20:30 - continuation Publishing Class IV: Community in Print with Casco

DAI alumnus Nikos Doulos will join DAI for an informal presentation/talk on his current activities as a member of Expodium collective. Through a brief introduction to their recent projects, he will elaborate on the foundation's transition to a collective, their NIGHTWALKERS practice, as well as Expodium's future plans.

Rehearsal for the performance 'By Another Name' of Emily Roydson in the Amsterdam Stedelijk Museum, followed by the performance in the museum.
