Sylvie Zijlmans
Amsterdam based artist Sylvie Zijlmans frequently uses photographic means. Still, her works can be better described as sculptural installations involving a wide range of materials, techniques, disciplines and locations. Sylvie Zijlmans (Amsterdam, 1964) had exhibitions at, among other places, the Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, the Provinciaal Museum Hasselt, the Centraal Museum in Utrecht, the Noordbrabants Museum in Den Bosch, the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, Museum Boymans - van Beuningen in Rotterdam and the Museum voor Moderne Kunst in Arnhem.
Sylvie Zijlmans has been involved in the DAI's program at an irregular base between 2004 (DAI NAI - project in Nanjing) and 2006.
